Women Only Classes

The gym offers completely private all female training sessions between 2pm and 7pm on Sundays.  The gym is totally closed to men at this time to allow women and girls (from 12yrs) to train in a completely all female environment. These sessions are one hour private tuition classes taught by Trix March, who is co-owner and senior instructor at Wicker Camp, she is ex-World, European, Commonwealth and 2x British Thai Boxing Champion and has 25 years of experience in the sport and is a former college lecturer in physical education and sport science.

Trix has designed these classes for any women who want to get fit, lose weight, gain self confidence. The classes are progressive so you DON ‘ T have to be fit to start, it doesn’t matter if you’ve never done any exercise before or how out of shape you think you are Trix will make you feel very welcome and look after you. These sessions are tailored to suit any individual or group of individuals and are a perfect starting point for anyone who wants to become fitter, stronger, more flexible and improve your self-esteem and feel good about yourself.

2-3pm Thai circuit class.

3-4pm Thai padwork class.

4-5pm Thai circuit class.

Trix has a no nonsense approach to fitness and will help you achieve your goals through fun and exciting classes and lots of positive motivation and encouragement. You will have loads of  fun, laugh a lot and surprise yourself. The best thing about these classes are they are excellent value and the more people who come the cheaper it is. The cost has ranged between 60p to £2 per session so lots of women do two, either 2-4 or 3-5.

    Hi my name is Charlotte I’m 22 years old and I am wanting to start up with some boxing classes to help me keep fit and to help me focus on something my dad was a boxer for most of his life with Brendon ingle but I am somewhere where there are classes just for women and I have read that you do these.

    Hi I am intrested in boxing classes for women …
    I am very fit already and love martial arts style exercise at leisure centre ie body combat!
    But I would like to get fitter…
    Please can you get in touch with details of were ur.

    The 2-3pm class is a Thai Circuit class, great for improving general fitness, building strength, stamina and flexibilty.

    The 3-4pm class is a traditional Thai Padwork class, working with a partner on the pads learning Thai Boxing techniques. This class is good for developing Thai Boxing skills and improving stamina and conditioning and a really good stress buster.
