6.30-8 B2/3 – beginner class exploring B2/3 techniques in padwork combinations and conditional sparring.

8-9.30 B1 – complete beginner (level 1) class learning basic Thai boxing techniques and defence through partner work and padwork.

4.30-5.30 Junior Beginners – junior class with lots of fitness work and learning basic Thai Boxing techniques with an element of discipline and respect.

5.30-6.30 Graded juniors – junior class for higher grades learning more complex techniques and how to spar.

6.30-8 Adult Intermediate/Advanced – senior class learning more complex techniques, combinations, attack and defence strategies and open kick sparring.

8-9 Thai bagwork – 10 rounds of bagwork with optional gym tests inbetween each round with optional 5x rounds of body sparring at the end.

@ Wicker Camp Interclub - Sunday 12noon

This is a varsity interclub with students coming from Plymouth, Warwick, Nottingham and UWE to spar against our Wicker Camp University students. 25 bouts for £5 entry with Thai food on sale! A great chance to see the level of sparring at an interclub for those thinking of doing one in the future and also to support fellow Wicker Camp students.

James Ogden becamce the new ISKA English champion by KO in the 4th round. James fought Ed Lyons who won the title last year on the Gatecrasher show. James fought well and caught Ed at the end of the first round with a big punch. Ed tactically tried to keep the second round in the clinch with James trying to keep the fight long. The third round saw James dominating the fight again and eventually KO’d Ed in the 4th with a left hook.

Great performances from both fighters, thank you to our loyal supporters and to Yogi Parek the promoter; there was some excellent fights and the venue was perfect.

One hour of hardcore strength building exercises using ladders, medicine balls, Tyres, shin conditioning, ropes, rubber inner tubes, heavy power cables, chains and even sledgehammers!  There’ll be blood, carnage, missing limbs, amputation……and lots of laughs in this fun and challenging extreme fitness session.
