Two great performances from Roo and Riley tonight.

Roo MarchMullaney vs Mungkorndam Sing Mawin

A very strange outcome that I've never seen before.

The first round was even 10/10. In the second round both fighters scored well with Mungkorndam catching Roo with a good hook to the chin which he took very well and kept his poker face. Roo scored well with good kicks and knees in the clinch and found his weakness to the body with some solid body punches. Roo looked dominant from catching the body kick countless times and countered well.

The second was also scored 10/10.

In the third Roo found his range and pushed forward scoring well with much more effective and accurate techniques and a higher work rate. He started to score well with his punches and well timed teeps sending Mungkorndam to the canvas a few times.

Third round was 10/9 to Roo.

The fourth round Roo pushed forward using good solid jabs and continued to look the better boxer. He caught a body kick and countered with a solid cross to the body which dropped Mungkorndam instantly.

The referee did not start a count!!!... Instead he left him on the floor, went to get the microphone from the MC and declared the fight a no contest and demanded both fighters leave the ring!! He then left the ring looking annoyed paying no attention to either fighter leaving Roo's corner team to help his opponent up!!!

Very strange......we have been told initially that the decision was to do with some online betting in Bangkok and the fight not going as expected.

Regardless, Roo's performance was excellent but he was disappointed the fight was not allowed to continue. His opponent was also very annoyed and confused with the referee in the changing room but was okay with Roo.

Riley Carnall vs Wanchalern

Riley started strong from the the first round scoring well with strong punches and leg kicks. His opponent landed some good body kicks and leg kicks too.

The second round was amazing with Riley dominating the clinch and finding his range with multiple solid leg kicks forcing Wanchalern down twice and taking two 8 counts. It looked like he would get stopped but Wanchalern hung on and looked desperate to land the elbow to finish the fight early. He went down again at the end of the round and was saved by the bell.

The third round saw Riley dominate again with his kicks but Wanchalern switched his stance and closed him down into the clinch every time looking for the elbow at short range. 1 min into the round he dropped Riley with a right elbow on the chin. Riley took an 8 count but got straight back into the fight pushing forward landing some solid punches and kept working the leg.

It was a very exciting round with their corner screaming for the elbow and our corner for the leg kick. About 2 mins in Riley landed a perfect knee to the body which dropped his opponent and the referee stopped the contest to declare Riley the winner by KO. A superb performance for his first fight in Thailand, well done.
