August is generally a quiet month with students and families going on their holidays. Our junior classes are suspended until 1st September but all other classes are on as normal. What a great weekend of Muay Thai All the lads (Roo, Franky and Zane) weighed in Friday afternoon and after a 5 hour drive we arrived 10.30pm in Lowestoft. Its a seaside town in East Anglia and feels like you're really so far away from home. The show was an open air event in a field opposite a beach resort. Friday Night Team Sparring A fantastic evening of Muay Thai sparring with some excellent performances and some really exciting matches. Harry Hardwick vs Josh White English Title 79kg This was a great main card fight and both lads fought very well. Harry caught Josh early in the first round with a left hook that put Josh on the back foot. Harry rushed in a bit too quick and it got a bit scrappy. Harry used his kicks well to the legs and body scoring effectively in the early rounds with Josh favouring his hands with solid punches to the head and body. Road to Legacy Results WickerCamp had a great day at this local event. Our fighters performed really well and looked sharp and well schooled. Adnan Khan won unanimously on points in this Muay Thai junior bout. He worked well staying calm and focused with good footwork and good solid techniques. Zubair Faqiri lost narrowly on points after dominating the first two and a half rounds with strong punches and kicks but losing the fight narrowly in the end in the clinch. A good lear
