POLAND OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS
Sunday 19th October 2025.
Daniel fought in the +81kg and 14-15yr old category which put him at the bottom end of both the weight and age. He did so well to get to the finals after winning by a clear points decision in the semi finals on Saturday. For his fight in the final on Sunday his Polish opponent was just shy of 16yrs and a whopping 100kg and more experienced so it was going to be a tough fight. As we suspected he was far too big and strong for Daniel landing a knee to the face very early in the first round and taking an eight count. Shortly after the referee stopped the contest for safety reasons, a good decision. Well done to Daniel for getting that far and winning Silver 🥈.
Adnan fought in the -48kg 12-13yr category in the final. He beat the Ukrainian in the semi finals on Saturday and his opponent in the final was a Polish boy. Adnan started very strong coming forward with good accurate kicks and punches. He landed a good body kick to the lads arm which he took an eight count for and shortly after launched a barrage of punches which a second eight count was given and a TKO declared. A great victory for Adnan winning the Gold 🥇.
Thank you to the Polish Muay Thai Federation for a fantastic well organised and delivered event. Thank you to Chilli and Roo for being a great corner team and well done to all the fighters, a great experience and opportunity.
